Starting from the 1st of May 2023, the Avon Rowing Club's Winter Program will run until the 31st of August 2023.

The program cost is $75 for full paid members of the Avon Rowing Club during the 2022-23 season, and $150 for non-members. However, if you choose to row for Avon over the summer, $75 will be deducted from your 2023-24 subs. The fee covers winter coaching, ergs, and rows. The purpose of the fee is to ensure that the summer budget is not depleted to pay for winter coaches.

The Winter Program will be led by Leon Barrowcliffe, and Logan Keys will participate during the month of May. Avon Coaches will also make occasional appearances during the program.

Additional rows may be included in the program later in the winter (July/August). In addition, there will be strength and conditioning (S&C) sessions at UC from 6-7pm on Tuesday and Thursday, which come at an additional cost. A UC S&C coach will provide supervision.

The exact cost is still to be confirmed, but it will not exceed $200 for the full winter.
